Origami Bats
Here is a simple origami
bat that children of
all ages can create.
What You Will Need:
- Origami Bat Folding Directions (click here to download)
- Squares of Black Paper (construction paper works well)
- Scissors
- Craft Eyes (or a white crayon)
- Monofilament Fishing Line (optional)
What You Do:
- Download and print the folding directions from the link above.
- Create your origami bat — make dozens of them for decorations.
- Attach monofilament fishing line to the back of the bat and hang from a window.
- Repeat this process for as many bats as you would like.
Variations:
- Use different colors of paper to create unique bats.
- Use white paper to create your bat, then use colored pencils or crayons to make it look like a real bat.
- Experiment with different sizes of paper.
- Create a "bat mobile" by hanging several bats from a coat hanger.
