Good Citizens of Gladlands,

I bring you bad tidings of great woe. A terrible clamity has befallen our kingdom -- the sacred Sword of Glee has been taken from us; stolen by the evil, shape-changing villain, Blag the Untrustworthy! Disguised as our good king, Blag crept into Castle Glee and tricked Muddle the Magician, the keeper of the sword, into handing it over. But that nasty creature Blag did not stop there. Using the sword's great power for his own evil ends, he kidnapped the real king, Gilbert the Gracious, and now holds him prisoner in Castle Gloom on the far side of Gladlands.

I just received a ransom note from Blag demanding that we all go to work as his slaves in the Fields of Fancy, growing crops for his armies so that they may grow ever stronger. If we do not submit to his evil plan, we will never see Gilbert again!

The time as come to put a stop to Blag's wicked ways. I call upon all Gladlanders to compete in a tournament at Castle Glee to find the bravest, strongest and wisest amongst us to defeat Blag, and return the king and the sword to their rightful home. So, good citizens, I am looking for:
