A Theory of Creativity

"Educational Adventures" - that's what we call all the fun activities our family does. And since they're Escapade Direct Educational Adventures, they're boosted to the power of two: E²!

We believe learning should be fun - it should be filled with creative wonder, excitement, happiness and satisfaction when new ideas are discovered. That's what adventures are all about. Education should never be boring, tedious or approached with apprehension - that's not what adventures are about, so why should educational experiences be any different?

Escapade Direct is all about fun, creative Educational Adventures! The products you'll find on our website are all intended to stimulate fun and excitement while helping provide positive learning experiences for children. But sometimes there needs to be more... Sometimes, people need help developing methods that encourage children to learn and to become independent explorers. Sometimes, they simply need help coming up with new "outside the box" ideas to help their children play - face it, we've all heard those dreaded three words: "Mom, I'm bored".

Our Theory of Creativity is to promote outside the box thinking. To inspire children. To encourage children to discover. To motivate children to invent and experiment. To arouse imaginations and visions.

It's where you can come to get inspiration for new creative ideas; games to play with your child; activities for a rainy day; ways to keep road trips from being boring drives; exciting websites you might not know about; all while building "strong brains" - sometimes without children even knowing they are "learning"!
