WonderChess

WonderChess is played using standard chess rules and the standard objective of checkmating your opponent to win the game.

WonderChess adds one magical enhancement to the game of chess. You may place small, hidden prizes called "WonderFillers" inside the patent-pending chess pieces! Upon capturing a chess piece during play, you may open it up and claim a WonderFiller!

WonderFillers allow both players to be "winners" in WonderChess. These small victories help kids stay positive and excited about learning and playing the complex game of chess.

WonderChess can be played with a variety of WonderFillers ranging from motivational stickers and jumping jacks to mini-M&Ms and jelly beans. Be creative and incorporate your own combination of WonderFillers and methods that best meet your needs and values. The WonderChess Method book contains a few of our favorite game playing variations.
